Ace Speedway officials released the date of the 5th Annual Rodney Cook Classic. The annual event is set for October 12-13th.
Ace Speedway Owner and General Manager Jason Turner said he wanted to get the date out there so teams could start planning and they’ll release more information in the coming weeks.
“We just want to get our date out there,” said Turner. “There’s a lot of other races going on and we wanted everyone to know when to expect the Rodney Cook race to take place. Last year was a huge success and it’s going to be even bigger this year.”
Ace Speedway is expected to follow a similar format to last year after the success of the event.
October 12th will be Early Parking, Sign in, Practice and Technical Inspection for Late Model Stock Cars and Modifieds only. With all other practice and racing taking place on October 13th. October 14th will be held as a rain date for the event.
