We were sitting around thinking (scary right?). We thought about how cool it would be if Sports Gambling would come to short track racing and how it might change the industry.
With that thought in mind, we’re going to be releasing betting odds from some races this season. This isn’t anything official, this is just the staff’s thoughts on the type of odds we’d put on someone winning a particular race. In this case, we’re looking at this weekend’s CARS Tour season opener for Late Model Stock Cars and if we were one’s taking bets how we would pay out.
Clearly, this isn’t meant to hurt anyone’s feelings or slight them in any way but some drivers have a better chance of winning this weekend and some don’t have the seat time or the laps at Southern National to be considered someone who might have a legit chance of winning. We’re hoping some of the longshots make us look bad but we’ve got our money on the big names going in.
