It has finally arrived! The 2015 South Boston Speedway racing season will get cranked up Saturday afternoon, March 14 with a special 2 p.m. starting time for the Danville Toyota NASCAR Whelen Late Model Twin 100 racing program.
The featured attractions of the night will be a pair of 100-lap races for the drivers in the NASCAR Whelen All American Late Model Stock Car Division.
The NASCAR Whelen All American Series racing program will also feature a 50 lap race for the drivers in the Limited Sportsman Division and action for the Budweiser Pure Stock Division and the Hornets Division.
“We are extremely excited to get the 2015 season started,” South Boston Speedway General Manager Cathy Rice said. “The competitors are ready. The fans are ready. And, we are certainly ready for another banner season here at South Boston Speedway.”
Season tickets for each scheduled event during the 2015 season remain on sale at South Boston Speedway and are priced at just $150 each.
Registration will open Saturday at 9 a.m. and practice for all divisions will be held from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Grandstand gates will open at noon and qualifying time trials will get cranked up at 12:30 p.m.
Adult admission will be $10. Children, ages six and under, will be admitted free with a paid adult.
