Ridgeway, VA(October 5, 2012) — RACE22.com has traditionally had a Best Appearing Car award for the Virginia is for Racing Lovers 300 at Martinsville Speedway. This year, RACE22.com is working with sponsors to make it even bigger and more valuable to drivers and teams.
“I know the teams work hard on their cars,” Langley Austin, RACE22.com webmaster, said. “We want to reward them for their hard work and make this more worth it to the drivers. We have traditionally done this in the past and the drivers and fans love it.”
RACE22.com will be announcing sponsors for the Best Appearing Car Award over the next two weeks.
“We’re excited about the future of this award,” Langley Austin said. “It’s a cool deal and we’re hoping sponsors will step up so we can bring it to the next level. This is a great thing for the racers and the fans and we’re very excited about bringing it to the next level.”
Frank Deiny, Jr. had the best appearing car in 2011 at Martinsville Speedway. Brandon Baker, Danny Edwards Jr, Alex Yontz, Brandon Butler, Coleman Pressley, Adam Long, Dexter Canipe Jr, Robert Tyler and Tommy Lemons Jr all made the top-ten list for Best Appearing Cars at Martinsville in 2011.
