DILLON, SC :: Ryan Hall has started the season at the Dillon Motor Speedway on a tear. Hall won the season opening event for the Late Models just two weeks ago and returned Saturday night to claim his second win in a row.
Hall would claim the pole for the race laying down a time of 16.701 second. Justin Hicks would start to the outside of Hall.
An early restart would allow Hicks to move around Hall for the race lead. Hall wouldn’t let Hicks get a big advantage. A restart again with less then twenty laps to go would allow Hall to move back around Hicks for the lead.
Hall would cruise to his second victory of the season and second in a row at the Dillon Motor Speedway.
Archie Adams, Jr would trade paint with Justin Hicks for second place. The two would make contact with less then ten to go exiting turn two. Adams, Jr would take the position, but Hicks would return the favor in turn four.
Adams however, would hold on to the second position with Hicks coming home third. Greg Peterson would finish fourth with Jason Clark rounding out the top five.
Bill Willis, Jr would claim the Mini Cup Stock event after Chris Conners would make contact with the turn four wall with less then five laps to go.
Jeff Melton would win his second Street Stock event of the season. Melton, driving the only Ford in the field led wire to wire for the victory.
William Haynie would pick up the win a wild Charger race. A four car race for second would be overshadowed when a three car wreck on the last lap would take out Brian Owens and two others.
Andy Norton picked up the win in the Pure Stock 4 division.
