3. Ben Rhodes
He might not have a win in a Late Model Stock Car yet but his dues have to be ready to be cashed in. Ben is one of the top Late Model Stock Car drivers in every race he competes in and with his knack for being really good on the biggest stages, Rockingham could finally hold his first win. Ben ran up front at Richmond last year in his first Denny Hamlin Short Track Showdown, then led laps at Martinsville last fall. This year he was in contention to win at Daytona, only to finish second and took the checkered flag first at Myrtle Beach only to be penalized for last lap contact with another driver. So his “big stage” presence has surely been felt by the competition and according to track size and history, Rockingham could be the “biggest” of them all.
