When a fan heckled Stephen Nasse from the grandstands during Nasse’s frontstretch interview after Saturday’s Full Throttle 100 at Citrus County Speedway, the always entertaining Honey Badger from Pinellas Park, Florida did not disappoint.
Nasse, during his interview, called out the fan who had chirped something that irritated the veteran racer. And, in typical Nasse fashion, his response did not disappoint.
“That guy’s a real hardass over there in the stands. I guarantee you he wouldn’t say shit to my face up close and personal,” Nasse remarked. “I don’t know what he’s thinking but you better just stay in the stands guy. That’s all I got to say. It’s racing and if you’ve got a problem with it, I’m over in the pits all night long. Come see me.”

The heckler did not accept Nasse’s invitation.

Nasse was penalized on lap 79 when race leader Mike Bresnahan spun off his front bumper during a battle for the lead. Bresnahan dropped out of the race while Nasse raced his way back up through the field, rebounding to finish second.
