East Carolina Motor Speedway announced that the second running of the Ronnie Barnette Memorial, will be held on November 6th and November 7th, will be headlined by a $6,000-to-win Late Model Stock Car race.
Track promoter John Vick said on a radio show on Thursday evening that the race would be the biggest race in the track’s history.
“We’ve been working on this race for quite a while,” Vick said.
The 2nd Annual Ronnie Barnette Memorial will run under Late Model Stock Car rules, not under the Limited Late Model rules the track currently races under. Last year, the Ronnie Barnette Memorial was held in October and was headlined by a Limited Late Model feature race.
East Carolina Motor Speedway said they would make more announcements about the race in the upcoming days and weeks.
