As the biggest Limited Late Model race in the country approaches, the stakes continue to get higher.

David Sell, the promoter of the fourth annual 2015 “Mischa Sell Memorial”, along With Brad Smith, president of Velocita driving suits, will be offering a big bonus for the driver with “passing skills”.

The top two drivers in qualifying for the October, 18th event at Ace Speedway in Altamahaw, NC will have the chance for either driver, if they choose, to start from the back of the field for the main event to collect a new helmet from Bell, as well as a new drivers suit from Velocita and a $5000 check from the company to boot. With the bonus and added perks, it pushes the new bonuses to well over $6500 on top of the winner purse that was already announced.

“This award with the other perks offered in the race puts this event at the top echelon for Limited Late Model drivers” said race promoter Sell. “If a driver can sit on the pole or outside pole, start from the back and win, they have the chance with all the lap leader money, and other added purse structure to take home over $10,000. We have had entries coming in for months now and as the race approaches, this new bonus along with the already huge purse should make this event one of the biggest in the Southeast, if not the country.”

As always, all profits from the event go to the Jack and Jill Late Stage Cancer Foundation www.JAJF.org. As we all enjoy the great racing, the real reason for the event is to raise awareness for treatment and comfort for all those suffering from cancer. We hope to see everyone out for this great event, all rules and information can be found at www.SELLMEMORIALRACE.COM.
