DAYTONA BEACH, FL :: John Wes Townley posted the fastest time in qualifying for Saturday’s ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards race at Daytona International Speedway.

Pending a post-qualifying inspection, Townley will sit on the pole for the Saturday’s Lucas Oil 200 presented by MAVTV American Real. The race will be broadcast live on SPEED at 4:30 p.m.

Townley posted a time of 181.313 at Daytona Friday afternoon as 44 cars took to the track in pursuit of the Menards Pole Presented by Ansell.

Saturday will mark the 50th annual ARCA Racing Series event at Daytona.
