McCallister Precision Marketing (MPM) and Nesbitt Racing Enterprises announce a fifth consecutive top 5 finish for 14 year old Cole Glasson in the #12 ProSoap / AM Technical Solutions / Driven Steering Wheels truck at Greenville-Pickens Speedway.

Cole and his team were continuing to find speed in practice after posting P10 in the second practice and would jump up to P3 in the final practice before making additional changes in preparation for qualifying. During qualifying Cole would improve almost 7/10ths of his previous best and coming within a few hundredths of pole position. The top four drivers were separated by hundredths in qualifying.

Cole would get the dice roll and start on pole for his third time this season and would take quick advantage of that position as he jumped out to a big lead and led the first third of the race before a caution would bring the field back together. Cole would remain in the top four the entire race and would also post the fastest lap of the race by over 1/10th.

At the checkered, Cole would bring home his fifth straight top five finish in the first five races of the season. He would also slightly extend his 2nd place position and would leave Greenville-Pickens Speedway just 8 points back from the Championship lead.

Glasson stated, “We had a really fast truck this weekend and it was so hooked up I had a hard time slowing down like I should for tire management. It cost us some at the end but it was good to lead the first 1/3 of the race.” He went on to thank his sponsors of ProSoap, AM Technical Solutions, Driven Steering Wheels, K1RaceGear, Dallas Karting Complex, Comet Cleaners, American Workshop and Real Sports Websites.

Tonya McCallister, Glasson’s agent, states “We had an exceptional truck this weekend and continue to get closer to that first win. Cole was able to lead 1/3 of the race tonight and turn the fastest lap so we know we are getting close.”

Martin Nesbitt, Team owner, went on to say, “While we would have liked to get the win, we continue to make great gains with Cole. He is bringing the truck back in one piece each weekend and continuing to stay in the Championship chase by being extremely consistent and being a threat each weekend.”
