J.P. Morgan to Challenge for Second Series Title in 2014
-J.P. Morgan will return to the Pro Cup Series on a full time basis once again this season, with hopes of claiming his second series title after winning the championship trophy in 2012. Morgan and company will hit the ground running in the coming weeks as they get their first feel of the new American Racer tire, and test a newly built Hess Grand National composite body car that was recently approved for competition starting this season.
Tony Stevens New Voice of the X-1R Pro Cup Series in 2014
-Fans that attend Pro Cup Series events this year will hear a new voice calling all the action, as veteran play-by-play man Tony Stevens has joined the series this upcoming season. Formerly with the UARA Late Model Stock Car touring series for the last five years; Stevens also has time behind the microphone calling action for MRN, Global Rallycross events, and the INEX Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Hess Race Cars to Award 2014 Series Champion a New Pro Cup Chassis
-Hess Race Cars, the premier chassis builder in the X-1R Pro Cup Series, returns as a contingency supporter for the 2014 season.
