With the Governor of Virginia declaring a state of emergency for Virginia due to the heavy rain predicted for the weekend, the ValleyStar Credit Union 300 at Martinsville Speedway has been postponed until Sunday, October 11.
The race weekend will follow the same schedule, just one week later:
Friday, October 9
12:00 p.m.: Registration and haulers enter; selection and mounting of practice tires only.
Saturday, October 10
6:00 a.m.: Garage and registration opens
6:15 a.m.: Mandatory crew chief and/or team representative meeting
6:30 a.m.: Inspection begins
12:00 p.m.: Fan gates open
1:00 p.m.: Practice begins (time approximate)
4:00 p.m.: Group Qualifying
Sunday, October 11
8:00 a.m.: Garage opens
9:00 a.m.: Fan gates open
9:00 a.m.: Mandatory driver/crew chief/spotter meeting
10:00 a.m.: Drivers autograph session on front stretch
11:00 a.m.: Cars on line
12:00 p.m.: Heat races begin
