Hendersonville, NC(April 2, 2012) — UARA-STARS will pack up and head south for the UARA Eggs-traordinary 150 at Dillon Motor Speedway on April 7th.
After an exciting race at Hickory for the season opener, fans will not be disappointed for the second race of the season. Fans of the Pee Dee will be entertained with some of the most talented drivers in late model racing. Not only will fans get to watch live, bumper-to-bumper action, but they will get to participate in our racing weekend.
“With UARA-STARS being a family oriented series, we want a chance to celebrate Easter with our racing family,” says Wink Bodenhamer. “We are planning an Easter Egg hunt on raceday!”
The hunt will begin at 7:30 around the grandstands. Prize coupons will be in some of the eggs for the kids and one special adult prize egg will be hidden. The adults will be encouraged to guess or find where the special adult egg is located while the kids will be hunting the 100+ eggs that will be hidden for them.
The UARA Eggs-traordinary 150 will start around 8 p.m. accompanied by the Carolina Vintage cars and the BM Modifieds. Drivers like Julia Dawson, Joey Bryant, Cory Joyce, Tim George Jr., Tyler Laing, Ben Rhodes, Sean Rayhall, R.A. Brown and the Bassett Brothers have already pre-entered the race, and many more to come.
Tickets for the event are just $15 for adults, $10 for students( ages 13-17), and kids 12 and under get in free. There is also a family 4-pack available for $25 that includes 2 parent tickets and tickets for their 12 and under children which equates to a $5 discount over the individual adult admission for a family.
For all of our fan who enjoy coupons, be sure to grab the bright purple official UARA-STARS Easter flyer for $3 off adult admission. These flyers have been distributed all around town, and will not be available at the track on raceday.
