McCallister Precision Marketing (MPM) has once again signed a standout up and coming racecar driver to their client roster. Don’t let Timmy “Mini” Tyrrell’s age fool you. At age 11, he is already more successful than some drivers four times his age.
At the age of 4, Mini Tyrrell began racing go-karts at his home track in Manassas, Virginia. By the age of 7 he was winning championships with his go-kart and setting his sights to the top racing divisions. Mini, at the age of 9, became the youngest person to compete in a full size Late Model car, and one year later claimed the record for youngest person in the world to win a Late Model Stock Car race. He completed the impressive feat with a win at Shenandoah Speedway.
Mini’s on track performance is impressive enough, but his off track accomplishments are even more impressive. Through his fundraising program, Mini’s Mission, Mini has raised over $367,000 for pediatric cancer research and other causes. He has been featured on NBC Nightly News and The Steve Harvey Show because of his charitable contributions. Mini even caught the attention of NASCAR star Jeff Gordon and then partnered with the Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation.
