With the Daytona 500 in the rearview mirror, Caraway Speedway is full throttle for the next couple of weeks preparing the track and opening up for the racers to get some much-needed track time after a long winter.
This Saturday, February 24th will be the first Test & Tune of the new season. Gates will open at 11:30am and the test session will begin at 12noon and last until 5pm.
“It’ll be a nice, almost 80-degree day to get cars on the track and get them ready for the new season,” Darren Hackett, Caraway Speedway Promoter commented. “It’s always good when you can get some pretty days to get work done around the track and get some cars out there for fans to hear and get excited about the new season coming up.”
Pit passes will be $20 per person. Trackside Parking will be open for fans to enjoy practice all day for free. The test session will be open to all divisions.
The season opener is just under two weeks away and teams will be gearing up for the 99-lap Late Model Stock Car race, 40-lap Limited Late Model feature as well as a 25-lap Chargers, 15-lap Mini Stocks, and a 12-lap U-Car race. Tickets for the March 4th Money Madness event will be $20 for Adults, $5 for kids 6-12 and kids five & under get in free.
