Myrtle Beach Speedway competitor Terry Evans passed away on Wednesday.
Evans, had been in the hospital following an accident on July 21st as he was leaving Myrtle Beach Speedway. On Wednesday, Evans succumbed to those injuries. Justin Milliken, who was discharged from an area hospital earlier this week, was also injured in the crash.
Evans was a longtime competitor at Myrtle Beach Speedway, scoring numerous victories in multiple divisions during the years. He was leading the points in the Super Truck division at Myrtle Beach Speedway prior to the June 21st accident.
Evans is survived by his wife, Cassie Evans, his mother, Annette, his father, who goes by the nickname “Bimbo”, uncle Paul, sister Tara and cousin Eric. He was 36.
