Southern National Releases 2013 Schedule

Lucama, NC(December 12, 2012) – Southern National Motorsports Park released their 2013 schedule on Wednesday. Their season starts on March 2^nd with twin Late Model Stock Car races and runs through September.

The UARA-STARS series will race at Southern National twice in 2013, on March 9^th and August 10^th. The March 9^th date will presumably be the season opener for UARA. The PASS South Series will race at Southern National four times in 2013, the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour will race twice and Rev-Oil Pro Cup Series has two dates at the track.

The Thanksgiving All-Star Classic is not on the 2013 schedule, but the 2012 race also was not included when the season schedule was released. That race would presumably be run November 29, 2013-December 1, 2013. In all, the 2013 schedule at Southern National is strong.

The regular season for the NASCAR Whelen All American Series Late Model Stock Cars concludes on Saturday, September 14^th, with twin races. That is part of a double-header weekend as the Late Model Stock Car division will also run on Friday, September 13^th.

Southern National has 15 dates on the schedule for the Late Model Stock Car division and 16 Limited Late Model dates.
