SOUTH BOSTON, VA :: South Boston Speedway officials have announced the schedule for the 2015 NASCAR Whelen All American Series racing season at America’s Hometown Track.

The 2015 schedules includes 15 events, with the popular and competitive NASCAR Whelen All American Late Model Stock Car Division slated to compete in each of those 15 events.

The 2015 season will get cranked up on Saturday, March 14 with a five-race event highlighted by twin 100-lap races for the NASCAR Whelen All American Late Model Stock Car Division. The 2015 campaign will conclude on Sept. 19.

The season-opening event will also feature a 50-lap race for the Limited Sportsman Division a 30-lap battle for the Budweiser Pure Stock Division and a 15-lap shootout for the Hornets Division, which will be cranking up its second season of action at South Boston Speedway.

The 2015 schedule includes four major touring series events. The track will host two races for the touring NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour. Those events are slated for April 4 and Sept. 19. Two races for the PASS South Super Late Model Series are also on the schedule, and are scheduled for June 6 and Aug. 15.

The schedule for the upcoming year also includes South Boston Speedway’s annual pre-Fourth of July racing event, which will be held on Friday, July 3. The July 3rd event will feature a 200-lap Late Model Stock Car Division event, a 100-lap Limited Sportsman race, a 50-lap Pure Stock Division race, and the traditional Fireworks Extravaganza at the close of the night.
