Austin Somero paced practice and then backed that up with a pole run in qualifying for today’s Winter Meltdown Limited Late Model feature at Greenville Pickens Speedway. Somero toured the half mile oval at 19.884 which was over a tenth of second faster than his teammate Jeremy Burns.

Burns turned a 20.008 for second with Kevin Leicht clocking in a 20.077 for third. Devon Morgan and Ralph Carnes complete the top five starters.  17-cars will take the green flag in the feature race later today.
