RANDLEMAN, NC :: Ryan Wilson will compete at three different tracks in 2014. Wilson will attempt to defend his championship at Caraway Speedway while also competing at Southern National Motorsports Park and Motor Mile Speedway.
Wilson has previously competed at both Motor Mile and Southern National. In his first start at Southern National, when the track reopened at the beginning of 2012, Wilson started on the outside pole in the race.
Wilson expects to be competitive at all three tracks in 2014.
“I expect to compete for all three track championships,” Wilson said. “I just want to compete every week. If we compete for wins, points will take care of itself. We’ve got to be consistent and compete for wins.”
Wilson says he hasn’t seen either track in a couple years but feels confident about being competitive. His best finish at Southern National was a fourth place in the second race of the 2012 season.
Wilson won the Caraway track championship last season, scoring two victories and 14 top-five finishes at Caraway Speedway in 2013.
