El Reno, OK(January 21, 2011) — From Legends cars to Super Late Models, Kenzie Ruston has been making a name for herself in the world of Stock Car racing and in 2011 she’ll take one more step to make her presence known.

Ruston, who will continue to pilot her family owned Super Late Model car in select Super Late Model races this season out of the Jeff Fultz Racing stables, will also take the step up to the ARCA Racing Series. Ruston has signed a multi-race deal with Venturini Motorsports to get her feet wet in the National Touring Series that opens it’s season at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona, FL in a few weeks.

While Ruston won’t be at Daytona, she has her sights set on making her ARCA Racing Series debut at Toledo Speedway in Toledo, OH. Ruston is expected to announce her ARCA Racing Series schedule in the coming weeks, but currently plans to run anywhere from three to seven races, the maximum allowed to keep your rookie status.

Ruston is excited about the new opportunity and excited about the chance to drive for one of the most notable and successful teams in the history of the ARCA Racing Series.

“I’m very excited to make the move to the ARCA Series,” said Ruston. We feel very confident in Venturini Motorsports and that’s why we have a contract through the 2012 season. I will continue to race 30 plus Super Late Model races in 2011 including PASS, CRA and the Blizzard Series.”

Ruston’s plan is to make the jump to full-time in the ARCA Racing Series in 2012 with Venturini Motorsports and compete for the series Rookie of the Year honors. Ruston’s 2011 campaign will be a chance for her to get used to the heavier, faster cars and competing on bigger tracks as the season goes along. Ruston has proved that with a little seat time she can be a formidable competitor as she ended her rookie campaign this season with two top ten finishes in two of the biggest races of the year, the World Crown 300, Pro Late Model race at Gresham Motorsports Park and the Snowflake 100 at Pensacola.

Ruston is hoping that she can parlay this chance with Venturini into the same kind of success she’s seen at every level of racing and is confident that Venturini gives her, her best shot.

“It’s an honor to have a team like Venturini Motorsports behind me and my racing career.”

Ruston along with her ARCA Racing Series starts will compete in over 30 Super Late Model as well as continuing to compete in the Summer Shootout for Legends cars at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Ruston has her plate full, but she’s shown that she can get the job done behind the wheel of any car and now she has her biggest challenge ahead of her.
