COPPER HILL, VA :: When Five Star Bodies RACEDAY LIVE debuted on Wednesday at Martinsville Speedway and carried over to Thursday due to rain, it did so with a record number of live viewers for the MDCU 300 test day.
RACEDAY LIVE is the rebranded name for RACE22.com’s live blog. Martinsville’s MDCU 300 Test Day Wednesday and Thursday was the first time under the new name. The test days have always garnered strong numbers for RACE22.com but this year there were thousands more readers.
“That’s something we can get excited about,” said RACE22.com Webmaster Langley Austin. “Test day is always huge for us. It’s during the middle of the work week and a lot of people can’t come to the track, so they’ll check out the extensive coverage we do instead. This year with the rain on Wednesday it certainly increased the viewership for Thursday.”
Five Star Bodies RACEDAY LIVE presented by MPM Marketing will continue next weekend with two full days of coverage from Martinsville Speedway. The ARI Designs Road to Martinsville will also have extensive coverage in the days leading up to next weekend’s action as well with interviews with many of the key players, underdogs and much more.
