Davin Scites new website offers a fresh look for the veteran driver from Wayne, West Virginia, who got his start in go-karts after growing up around racing with his father, Jack competing in NASCAR in the 1960’s and 1970’s. Scites quickly made a name for himself in go-karts winning in West Virginia, Ohio and Kentucky before deciding to move up to the Inex sanctioned Legends cars.
From there it was on to NASCAR Late Models before a couple year layover in the ASA Racing Series, where he won as a rookie in 2003. After not only racing, but also serving as crew chief for well know ASA racer Butch Miller and a Hendrick Motorsports development driver, Scites returned to racing in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series, Late Model Stock Cars in 2005. From there he became the track record holder at Martinsville Speedway for the Virginia is for Racing Lovers 300, where he broke the record in 2007, then again in 2008 and again in 2009.
Scites is certainly among the most well known Late Model Stock Car racers, but this season he’s hoping to compete in some bigger races and other series, but also will compete in his Late Model as much as possible. With that it was the perfect time for Scites to upgrade his website.
“I’ve been talking to the guys at RACE22.com for a couple years now it seems,” said Scites. “Finally, I just decided that it was time to get something done and I have to say, I’m impressed with what they’ve come up with for me.”
Scites is one of the first clients to purchase the “Drivers Seat Package” from RACE22 Designs, a package designed to allow the driver or his represenative the ability to update the website on their own and not have to purchase an Update package from RACE22 Designs.
“When I looked into getting the website done, they showed me a new package that they were releasing that would allow me to update the website myself,” said Scites. “That seemed like the perfect option for me since I never know for sure how many races I’m going to run and buying a big update package could be a waste of money for me.”
