Fantasy Predictions for 2016 Season
Top Three Drivers
1 – RA Brown – Six wins in 2015 showed that he was the biggest competition for the championship but this season we look for him to seal the deal and increase his win total.
2 – Trey Gibson – With four wins under his belt at Anderson last season and the track championship Trey Gibson will be looking to repeat as champion and improve on the number of wins.
3a – David Roberts – He didn’t win as many races last year as he has at Anderson in the past but he’s a contender week in and week out. Look for him to be a contender this year as well.
3b – Cody Haskins – We couldn’t go without talking about Cody Haskins after a two win season last year. He was strong all season and this year he could easily be one of the guys competing for the championship.
Breakthrough Driver
Marty Ward/Kenneth Headen – Yeah it’s almost funny to think of these guys as “breakthrough drivers” but without a victory at Anderson for either driver, they’ll both be looking to break back into victory lane this season. Ward has enlisted the help of Lee Faulk Racing to help get his racing program back to the top level and that’ll start in Friday night’s opener.
Rookie Threat
Cole Glasson – He’s expected to compete at Anderson but hasn’t made a decision on running full time. But if he does he’ll likely be a contender with veteran crew chief Lee McCallister turning wrenches on his Ed Surrett owned car.
Luke Sorrow – He’s competing in the Limited Late Models at Greenville but with only one division of Late Models at Anderson he’ll be running with the “big dawgs” and if his win in the Limited opener at Greenville was any indication he will be just fine at Anderson.
