Raleigh, NC(December 17. 2012) — The 27th Piedmont Racing Expo exhibitor lineup reads like a Who’s Who of short track racing companies. Event promoter Phillip Walker, returning from the Performance Racing Industry Trade Show in Orlando said area racers will be very pleased with the exhibitors for the regional trade show in Raleigh, January 18-19, 2013.
Companies such as Racing Electronics, Butlerbuilt Professional Seat Systems, SafeQuip, O’Reilly Auto Parts, DRP Performance, Gann Race Parts, Howell Racing Products, HGR Trailers, RBR Fabrication, Performance Tees, Graphics Unlimited, Landshark Performance, J&J Race Cars, and many more suppliers of racing parts and accessories will be on hand for this event held each January at the State Fairgrounds in Raleigh, NC. In addition, many North Carolina speedways and regional racing series will be on hand to greet race teams with schedules and rules for the 2013 season. Championship race cars and pace cars from several tracks will also be on display. There will also be a racer’s auction.
Holley Carbs, Butlerbuilt Racing Seats, and RacersReunion.com will sponsor the Third Annual Raleigh Fairgrounds Racers Reunion, held in conjunction with the Racing Expo. Legendary drivers who raced at the ½ mile dirt oval on the fairgrounds property from the 1950’s – 1970’s will be available from 10am-2pm Saturday January 19 for an autograph and photo session for attendees. Vintage Race Cars will be on display. All former fairground racers are invited to attend.

Admission: $10 daily, Youth ages 12-15 $5 daily, No charge for children under 12 or women. Racing Expo Hours are: 12noon-9pm on Friday and 8am-5pm on Saturday. Auction begins at 1pm on Friday and 9am on Saturday.
