Track PR Release

Myrtle Beach, SC(November 18, 2012) — Rain postponed Sunday’s running of the 100 lap Southeast Limited Late Model race and the Myrtle Beach 400, which was scheduled for 12:15 pm.  “After reviewing  the weather forecast and radar report, we have decided to postpone the races in the best interest of the participants until March 22 of next year,” Bob Lutz said.

The track postponed the two races until Friday, March 22, 2013.  That will be when the SELLM and the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series races will make up their races.

As an added bonus of racing for the racers and fans, Myrtle Beach Speedway will run four features on Saturday, March 23, 2013.  This will be a double header weekend and will allow us to race four divisions on Saturday afternoon and evening.  Thursday will be an open practice day prior to both race days.  This will be a free practice day for all divisions racing on Friday, March 22, 2013 and Saturday, March 23, 2013.
