FAIRLAWN, VA :: Friday night’s racing action at Motor Mile Speedway concluded with what was quite possibly the closest finish in the history of NASCAR Racing. Peyton Sellers and Tommy Lemons, Jr. crossed the line in a dead heat in a photofinish, reminiscent of the 1959 Daytona 500, where track officials literally have been unable to determine a race winner.
Following the epic photofinish, both drivers were sent to Victory Lane and both drivers celebrated the victory.
The first Late Model feature at Motor Mile also produced a photofinish between Dillon Bassett and Lee Pulliam with Bassett scoring the victory after the two drivers ran side-by-side, nose-to-nose for the final 12 laps of the race.
Scott Lancaster picked up the win in the Limited Sportsman feature, his second win of the year and the first race in the division this season not won in the tech shed.
Results from the Late Model Stock Car feature have not been posted as Motor Mile officials are still working to determine who won the second LMSC feature.
