Motor Mile Speedway has been running a limited schedule for the past three seasons but that will change in 2016.
Motor Mile Speedway released a full schedule for 2016 on Thursday afternoon which features 14 race events, a Monster Truck show and a Demolition Derby. The number of Late Model Stock Car races on the 2016 schedule totals up to 18 races as a result of four of the races featuring twin 75 lap races for the headline division.
On top of the Late Model Stock Cars, the always exciting and competitive Limited Sportsman division will run 15 times, Mini Stocks will run 12 times, Street Stocks nine times, U-CARs twice and the Southern Ground Pounders Vintage Racing Club will make two stops at Motor Mile.
The Late Model Stock Car purse pays $4,500-to-win, $2,300 for second, $1,400 for third, $1,150 for fourth and $1,000 for fifth. The races will pay $225 to start with 30 car fields.
The 2016 season will open up on April 9th and run through September 10th.
