CALLAWAY, VA :: Moonshine Capital Promotions launched a new website on Wednesday for Franklin County Speedway ahead of the 2013 season opener on May 11th. The website, built by RACE22.com Designs, will have all the information racers and fans need throughout the season about everything going on at Franklin County Speedway.
“We’re excited to get a new website up and running for the season,” said Langley Austin, owner of RACE22.com and Franklin County Speedway promoter. “We’ve been working hard on everything. We have a fresh new website with a clean look that will provide our fans and racers with everything they need to know.”
The website has published the rule books for each division as well as the schedule, ticket info and directions to the track. During the season, the site will publish results and standings after every race and press releases throughout the season of everything that’s going on at Franklin County Speedway.
“How a website looks, it’s a reflection on the track,” said Austin. “I’ve always felt it was important to have a clean website with all the information fans and racers need. You have to have all the information that fans expect, such as ticket price info and results, and all the information racers want, such as rulebooks. It’s almost a requirement in this day and age.”
Owning RACE22.com and frequenting track websites for information, Austin knows the importance of having up to date information.
“It’s frustrating if you log on to a track’s website and can’t get results from a track and can’t get any information. I think my experience in the media has taught me a lot about what to do and what not to do with the website. We’re not trying to make anything flashy here. It’s just a matter of having all the information fans and drivers need.”
The website was built by RACE22.com Designs and powered by the WordPress Content Management System which allows information to be updated quickly and easily.
Earlier this week, Moonshine Capital Promotions released the 11 race schedule that will make up the 2013 racing season at Franklin County Speedway. The opening race of the season will be on Saturday, May 11th with all divisions racing.
