Bradley McCaskill has set the fastest time of the day with a lap of 20.394 as teams prepare for tomorrow’s IceBreaker event at Myrtle Beach Speedway. McCaskill was among 32-cars to take time in practice.
McCaskill turned the fastest lap of the day on the 17th lap of practice in the second practice session of three on the day. McCaskill’s lap edged out Justin Hicks for the fastest of the day. Hicks turned his fast lap of 20.490 in the first practice session of the day.
Defending Myrtle Beach Speedway champion, Justin Milliken turned the third fastest lap of practice with a lap of 20.531. Milliken whose own car wasn’t ready for this race is driving a car from the Nelson Motorsports stables and looks to be one of the cars to beat.
Corey Heim, who finished second in his first Myrtle Beach Speedway start in last fall’s Myrtle Beach 400, was fourth fastest on the day in his Lee Pulliam Performance entry. Will Burns driving a Hawk-McCall Motorsports car was fifth. Ty Gibbs in his first start for Nelson Motorsports was sixth fastest followed by Anderson Motor Speedway champion Luke Sorrow, South Boston Speedway champion Peyton Sellers and Ryan Millington.
The most recent winner at Myrtle Beach Speedway, Chad McCumbee, who won the Myrtle Beach 400 last November rounded out the top ten on combined speeds.
