As the new year approaches and the calendar turns to 2021, race22 is looking to rebrand with a fresh new look.
The first step for us to rebrand in 2021 is to get a new logo design and this time instead of hiring someone to create the logo we’re offering a logo design contest open to all designers.
The logo design contest is simple. Design a logo in a vector format and send them to us before January 14, 2021, and you’re entered to win.
What does the winner get you might ask? $300 cash, $200 in new race22 swag (once created with your logo), and a $2,500 advertising package for the 2021 calendar year on race22.com. That’s $3,000 worth of perks just for creating the new logo that race22.com will use going forward.
What are we looking for in a logo? We’ve always been an edgy and forward brand as you can see by the evolution of our logo from conception in 2004 to our most recent update in 2016. We’re all about being a bold and in your face brand and our logo should represent that.
Traditional race22 colors have been bright green (color #01fe0d) and black (color #000000) and while we kinda have the preconceived idea that we’d like to keep the same colors, we’re also open to new fresh ideas. However, be bold because we don’t like to blend in while in a crowd.
Designs with vector files (Illustrator files preferred) included should be sent to [email protected] under the subject “Logo Design Contest”. You may submit as many designs as you’d like to be considered. We will communicate with you on the designs if it’s something that we’re interested in or if it needs to be tweaked to have a better chance of winning the contest.
