HICKORY, N.C. :: Shane Lee started off the 2013 season exactly how he finished the 2012 season, in victory lane.
Lee dominated Saturday’s opener for the Limited Late Model division at Hickory Motor Speedway, starting from the pole and leading all 35 laps to score the victory. He is the defending division champion at the historic Hickory oval.
Landon Huffman was a distant second ahead of Sheflon Clay, Charlie Watson and Jeremy Pelfrey.
Kaleb Pressley originally was scored third, but was disqualified in post-race tech after coming up too low.
