Copper Hill, VA(December 12, 2012) – A new racing season is beginning to creep up on us and many race tracks have been posting their 2013 schedules and you can add Kingsport Speedway to the mix.

Kingsport Speedway, who has already been advertising their season opener as Saturday, March 9th has now rolled out the rest of their 2013 schedule.  23 additional dates have been added to their website presumably as NASCAR Whelen All-American Series races featuring 60-lap Late Model Stock Car races.  Though, no additional info other than the dates has been added to the schedule page on the tracks website.

Kingsport Speedway is expected to trim a couple of those dates as they go head to head with NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series races at nearby Bristol Motor Speedway.  The posted schedule does have two practice dates before the season on Saturday, March 2nd and March 8th.

The posted schedule also includes a “Championship Night” on August 16th, which would be the same date as last year’s inaugural Tri-Cities 150 featuring twin 75-lap races.  The races would crown the “King of the Concrete Jungle”.  In 2012, Adam Long picked up wins in both races and was crowned the “King of the Concrete Jungle”.

The final date on the schedule, much like 2012, features a Rev-Oil Pro Cup Series race on the Sunday following the fall NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Bristol.  CLICK HERE to view the entire schedule for Kingsport Speedway as well as the schedules for many of the areas tracks.

RACE22.com will have more on the Kingsport Speedway schedule as the season gets closer and information is updated.
