Kingsport Speedway has confirmed to RACE22.com that Kres VanDyke was stripped of his victory from Friday night’s Late Model Stock Car race at Kingsport Speedway. That gives the win to Lee Tissot.
“At the conclusion of the Late Model Stock Car feature Friday night, the carburetors from the top three finishers were taken for inspection.” a statement to RACE22.com from Kingsport Speedway public relations official Chase Brashears stated. “Following the inspection, the carburetors from the No. 15 driven by Kres VanDyke and No. 97 driven by Zeke Shell did not pass.”
Neither Kres VanDyke nor Zeke Shell returned our requests for comment.
