Kate Dallenbach to Run ZLOOP Series for Lee Faulk Racing

DENVER, NC :: Kate Dallenbach and Lee Faulk Racing and Development have agreed upon a deal that will enable Kate to run the ZLoop Big 10 Late Model Stock series at Hickory Motor Speedway this year.

Kate is making the move to North Carolina after a successful season last year where she drove for Tim Russell Inc. in the Pro Late Model division at tracks in central Florida. Kate won the Rookie of the Year award and finished second in the final points standings despite missing two races due to family commitments.

This year will prove to be a very busy one for the young lady who comes from a strong racing heritage. Both of Kate’s parents were successful racecar drivers as well. Her father Wally Dallenbach Jr. is a former NASCAR Winston Cup Series driver and her mother Robin played a large part in paving the way for female drivers in the sport of auto racing. Robin also made her way into the Winston Cup Series in 1982.  As if that is not enough, the racing family pedigree does not stop there. Kate’s grandfather, Wally Dallenbach Sr. was a very successful Indy Car Series driver who won five times in the 1960s and 1970s.

It is safe to say that racing in Kate’s blood and she plans to continue her development this season, as she will also be running a select number of dirt late model races for Richard Childress.

Bass Pro Shops will support Kate this season as she looks to gain valuable experience as she climbs her way up the ladder in hopes of one day racing on Sunday.
