The 2012 UARA racing season is less than two weeks away and the staff at the UARA are working nonstop to make 2012 the best season ever! “We know times are tough on everyone with the price of fuel on the rise. This rising cost of everyday living expenses reflect on race teams, the speedways and the UARA as a series” said UARA president Kerry Bodenhamer.
Efforts are being put in place to help competitors with the sagging economy. “With the signing of new sponsors for 2012, the UARA has been able to make some increases in the 2012 purse structure. We are working to try and improve this more as the season progresses” said Bodenhamer. “It is out goal to keep the UARA the premier development series in the nation.”
Another new concept the UARA is working on will promote the series in a much wider spectrum. With so many fans and teams being from out of the area, the UARA has teamed up with MotorSportsBroadcasting.com a division of MobileCast live.com. This releationship will offer a live pay per view telecast of the UARA events for the UARA fan that might not be able to make it to the speedway and also international fans that cannot be there. This technology will be a way for fans to view UARA events on their computer from home or on their ipads and or smart phones.
“MotorSportsBroadcasting.com is excited to announce our partnership with UARA to broadcast the 2012 Season. UARA will gain access to new fans from regions previously unreached by utilizing MotorSportsBroadcasting.com’s network. As our newest featured series, UARA will have a brand-new means of promoting their own drivers, teams & brands.” Said Brian Arrowood National Sales Director
“The UARA feels we are on the cutting edge of promoting our series with this programing, giving the series a world wide audience. The UARA will have more information on this program in the coming days” said Kerry Bodenhamer
Another big change for the 2012 season will be that the UARA will go to double file restarts.
“We have held off the double file restarts for a number of years because we felt it was hard on equipment, but after many request from fans we have decided to give it a go for 2012” said UARA President Kerry Bodenhamer.
