MOORESVILLE, NC :: The Championship Auto Racing Series (CARS) released the schedule for the inaugural CARS Tour Late Model Stock Car and Super Late Model doubleheader touring series with seven venues making up the 10 race tour.
The series will open up at Southern National Motorsports Park on March 28th and the season finale will be held at Hickory Motor Speedway on October 11th. The tours will also make trips to Orange County Speedway, Motor Mile Speedway, Tri-County Motor Speedway, Myrtle Beach Speedway and Concord Speedway in their 10 race inaugural tour which will consist of twin 150 lap races for both the Late Model Stock Cars and Super Late Models.
The CARS Tour is what was formerly known as the Pro Cup Series. A relaunch of the series was announced in early November with the hopes of revitalizing the brand and has generated excitement from both Late Model Stock Car and Super Late Model teams across the region.
