LUCAMA, NC :: Jay Fogleman spent most of the closing stages right up on the rear bumper of Preston Peltier.  Fogleman hopes Peltier would slip up and he could get by.  That’s exactly what happened on the last lap when Peltier slipped in oil dropped by Brandon Lynn’s car.  Peltier slipped to second and Fogleman scored the victory and inherited the points lead in the PASS Sourh Super Late Model Series.

“I knew it was going to be exciting with me and Preston with a couple laps to go,” Fogleman said.  “We just kept on digging.  I’m just glad we put on a good show for the fans tonight.”

Peltier was disappointed with his second place finish.

“I saw smoke and I didn’t smell anything so I thought it was tire smoke,” Peltier explained.  “Next thing I know I went down in to turn three and I was in oil and just about wrecked.  I saw Fogleman go by on the inside and thought, ‘oh man’.  This is just terrible.”

Kingsport Speedway regular Blake Jones finished third with Kyle Grissom and Jody Measamer rounding out the top five.
