RACE22.com will once again be rewarding Late Model teams for their creativity as they will be holding their annual “Best Appearing Car” award for the 2017 ValleyStar Credit Union 300. Dinah Marie Photography will present a 16×24 metal print to the Late Model team with the best appearing paint scheme, while 11×17 metal prints will be handed out to the teams who finish second and third in the final vote count for the contest.
“We’re excited to do this for the biggest race of the Late Model Stock Car season,” said race22.com founder Langley Austin. “We’ve seen a lot of hot looking cars last week here for the test and the photos I’ve seen on Facebook of the new schemes being rolled out this weekend means there will be a lot of competition for the award.
All 88 drivers that are entered for the ValleyStar Credit Union 300 will be eligible to participate in the contest. Fans will also have the opportunity to take part in the process by casting only one vote for their favorite paint scheme on race22.com’s Facebook page. The winners of the “Best Appearing Car” Award will be announced at the end of next week.
The ValleyStar Credit Union 300 is NASCAR’s biggest, richest and most prestigious Late Model Stock Car race. The day starts with three 25-lap heat races to set the field, followed by a 25-lap “last chance” heat.
