The Denny Hamlin Short Track Showdown at Larry King Law’s Langley Speedway is just one week away and we want drivers, teams and fans to be as prepared as possible, so below is the race day schedule.
Wednesday April 18, 2018 – Parking Day
3:00pm – 8:00pm Late Model Registration Window will be open for pre-sale pit passes
3:00pm – Vendor Parking
5:00pm to 8:00pm – Hauler Unload and Parking – (pit stalls 1 -12 and the pit stalls directly behind those front 12 are reserved (all teams will unload equipment and move haulers to the outside pit area. No haulers will stay in the infield.
Thursday April 19, 2018 – Race Day Schedule
7:00am – Registration Opens ($25 per person)
7:30am – LMSC Tire Mounting Begins
Practice tires first followed by qualifying tires
All tires will be rolled out to the competitors
7:30am – LMSC – Carburetor Inspection
8:00am – LMSC – Pre-Inspection / Safety Inspection
10:00am – 10:35am – LMSC – Spotter/Team Representative Meeting in the stands turn 4 section
11:00am – 12:15pm – LMSC Open Practice
14 to 16 cars at a time and a 5 minute red flag at 11:35 to clear traffic turn 1 only
12:15pm – 12:50pm – LUNCH
12:30pm – 12:50pm – LMSC – Early Media Availability (Infield Inspection Building)
1:00pm – 3:00pm – LMSC Open Practice
14 to 16 cars at a time and 5 minute red flags at 1:30, 2:00 and 2:30 to clear traffic turn 1 only
3:00pm – 3:15pm – Super Street 1st Practice
3:15pm – 3:35pm – Super Street Final Adjustments (Track Cold)
3:40pm – 4:00pm – Super Street Qualifying (fastest time sets your starting position)
4:00pm – ALL LMSC to Tech Shed Pre-Qualifying Inspection (all cars must be rolling at this time)
5:00pm – LMSC Qualifying
Euro style 2 or 3 cars for 3 laps, groups set by the fastest final practice time
Lock-In Top 30 positions Invited guest and past winners to go out first
Cars Impounded after qualifying
5:30pm – Media Availability (invited guest / Past Winners)
6:00pm – LMSC line up heat race on pit road
6:40pm – Pre-Race – Welcome
6:47pm – Pledge Of Allegiance
6:50pm – Invocation – Reverend Potter
6:53pm – National Anthem
7:00pm – LMSC Heat Race
30 laps or 20 minutes Top 10 Transfer
7:30pm – Super Street 50 Lap Feature
8:00pm LMSC to front stretch
Cars to be lined up in race position
8:30pm – DHF Awards and Sponsors
8:40pm – LMSC Driver Intros
8:55pm – LMSC Command (Grand Marshal)
9:00pm – LMSC Denny Hamlin Short Track Showdown 200 Lap Feature – Free Pass and Cone Double File Restarts in Effect
Break at lap 75 – 4 tires and minor adjustments. Details to be covered at the 10:00am meeting
Break at lap 150 – Fuel and minor adjustments. No tires at this break.
