Deac McCaskill has not raced at Southern National Motorsports Park since last May but he has not skipped a beat. The four-time track champion set the fast lap in qualifying with a 15.408 second lap in qualifying.
McCaskill topped Brayton Haws, Todd Gilliland, Jamey Caudill and Tommy Lemons, Jr. who rounded out the top-five. Haws scored the victory in the Autumn Classic last November. Gilliland finished second to Haws in the Autumn Classic while four-time track champion Jamey Caudill finished third to Gilliland and Haws last November. Tommy Lemons, Jr. is the most recent track champion.
