Dalton Sargeant paced the final practice for the CARS Super Late Model Series on Sunday afternoon at Southern National Motorsports Park ahead of today’s race at 4:00pm.
Sargeant turned the 4/10 mile track at a 15.081 which was just a tick faster than Raphael Lessard who clocked in at 15.099. Last years race winner in the season opening event for the CARS Tour Super Late Model Series Cole Timm turned in the third fastest time at 15.124. Matt Craig (15.139) and Lucas Jones (15.144) completed the top five on the practice charts.
The CARS Tour Late Model Stock Car Series is completing final practice now which will be followed by qualifying at 2:30pm and racing set for 4:00pm.
