19 year old Cole Williams will begin his quest for a 3-Peat as he gets his 2015 season under way this Saturday night at the historic Fairgrounds Speedway at Nashville.

2014 was another banner season for Cole by capturing his 2nd straight track championship by winning the Big Machine Records presented by Hunter Sand and Gravel Pro Late-Model track Championship at the Fairgrounds just a year after winning the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Missouri State Championship and Lebanon I-44 Pro Late-Model championship in 2013. He also picked up Rookie of the Year honors at both tracks along with his championships in his first year at the 2 tracks.

Cole and the team will be traveling back to Nashville this season to run full time as he returns to defend his title.  He will be hoping to surpass one other goal that he has for this historic track that he wasn’t able to accomplish in 2014…finding victory lane.  “The team and I have been working hard through the winter to get the car ready to win.  Winning the championship last year was definitely a dream come true, but we want to build on that and put her in victory lane.  The competition at Nashville is always tough, but I feel confident we have the right combination to make it happen” said the young gun.

The family own team will also venture out some, running the JEGS / CRA All-Stars race at I-44 Speedway along with traveling further south to 5-Flags Speedway in Pensacola, FL to prepare for the end of year Snowflake 100. Other races will be added to the schedule as the year progresses.

In addition to driving the family owned pro-late model, he will also get some seat time with LMR Motorsports in their NASCAR Late Model Stock Car.  He is hoping to test prior to his first race which is scheduled to happen in June at Motor Mile Speedway.  CWR is excited to team up with LMR.  “I had the opportunity to travel to LMR’s race shop in Piney Flats, TN this past weekend to get fitted for the seat.  Getting to visit with all of the guys as wall as seeing their hard work and commitment has me even more pumped about getting to drive for them “, remarked the youngster.

It was recently announced that Cole has been selected as 1 of 7 drivers named to the Kulwicki Driver Development program to compete for the Kulwicki Cup.  This is a great opportunity for him to build on his previous success and continue to grow his future career.  “Being selected as a KDDP driver is a true honor.  Alan Kulwicki’s career of coming through the ranks in racing mirrors mine a lot.  What Thelma Kulwicki & the entire program is doing for us “grassroots racers” is truly a blessing to my family & I.  I’m beyond excited to be racing in Alan’s memory” Cole exclaimed.

There are so many people that have helped Cole along the route to his many successes.  “Have to always thank the Lord above for the many blessings he has given.  Then of course the many sponsors over the years that have had our back no matter what; Cardinal Services, Bordeau Metals, Rite-Way Industries, JOES Racing, Wheel Chill, JEGS, Wallace Race Car Lettering, Bower & Associates, MPM Marketing, and many more.  Also can’t forget my family, friends, and the fans.  Thanks for supporting me on and off the track.”
