Cole Timm appears to be as potent a threat in the Championship Auto Racing Series (CARS) Super Late Model Tour as he was in the Pro All Stars Series (PASS).
Timm, who recently withdrew from competition in PASS, paced Saturday’s final practice session on the Super Late Model side ahead of the inaugural CARS Tour race with a 15.025 second lap. Timm beat out David Garbo Jr, Quinn Houff, Stephen Nasse and Chris Fontaine.
Houff’s 15.139 second lap was impressive but the team has work to do after he hit the outside wall on the frontstretch during the session, halting on-track activity briefly.
