Cole Glasson Looking to Win “Always a Champion” Competition

CHARLOTTE, NC :: Champion Spark Plugs is searching for the best up-and-coming talents to sponsor in 2015. With $125,000 in sponsorship at stake, drivers are encouraged to submit a video showcasing their talent and explaining why they want to be the next Champion driver.

Champion Spark Plugs will select 15 finalists based on fan voting results and other champion qualities. Each finalist will receive $5,000 in sponsorship money. The grand prizewinner will receive an additional $50,000. Cole Glasson has his eye on the grand prize.

At 14 years of age, Cole Glasson is focused and determined to be a champion on the track and in all areas of his life. As he continues to race to the top, Cole knows that it can’t be done alone. “I would like to thank everyone who continues to support me as well as all of my current sponsors that have helped me get this far. I look forward to hopefully representing Champion Spark Plugs in 2015.”

The first round of voting begins Tuesday, January 6, 2015 and will continue through February 3, 2015. The 15 winners will be announced on February 21, 2015 and then those winners will move on to round two of voting from February 24–March 24. The grand prizewinner will be revealed on March 31, 2015 where the $50,000 dollar check will be presented.

Contestants will be judged based on the number of fan votes, best depiction of a champion and inspirational quality. Registered voters can vote a limit of one vote per entry per person per day. For votes to be included in the finalist determination, all votes must be completed and submitted by 11:59 p.m. ET on February 3, 2015.

This is Cole Glasson’s second time to enter into the “Search for a Champion” contest after capturing honorable mention in 2014 and feels that he has what it takes to win.
