14-year old Kodie Conner will be making his CARS Racing Tour debut this Saturday at Concord Speedway in Midland, NC in his familiar black and orange tiger stripped Super Late Model.
Conner, who has spent the past three seasons racing in the Pro Late Model division of the Pro All Stars Series (PASS), has recorded 9 race wins since the start of the 2014 season.
“I am excited at the opportunity to get back behind the wheel of my Super this weekend at a track I really enjoy racing at. Concord is a very challenging and fast track, but we ran strong and won there in the Pro Late Model back in May so I am confident we will have good speed this weekend.”
This will be the third career start in the higher horsepower Super Late Model and first at Concord Speedway. Conner made his debut at Hickory Motor Speedway last September where he finished an impressive 4th after he was in the top ten most of the race.
With the help from Lee Faulk Racing Conner and his Tiger 45 SLM will be returning to a track they had success at this past May during the PASS weekend. Conner dominated the Pro Late Model 50 lap event at Concord Speedway and is looking to use that experience and knowledge of hundreds of testing laps to make his first CARS Tour start at the familiar track.
