Anderson Motor Speedway will kick off its 53rd season of racing this Friday night featuring a 50 lap main event with the Whelen All American Series Late Model Stocks. We will also showcase five divisions of racing featuring Mini Stock, Renegades, BM Mods, Front Wheel Drive and US Legends competition.
Friday night is officially Tucker Materials Night. Tucker Materials of Anderson played a major role in helping the track get ready for the 2016 Season with many concession upgrades along with Cisson Construction, Hart Fire & Safety and Brown’s Electric. The Tucker Materials staff and their guests will be on hand to enjoy a Friday night of racing under the lights.
At AMS we consider each of our race fans part of our racing family and on a sad note a member of our family, who faithfully attended the events at Anderson Motor Speedway every Friday night tragically lost her life in an automobile accident on Sunday, March 6th. Danielle Williams was a 17 year old senior at Wren High School and would have graduated this Spring. The Danielle Williams Memorial Academic Scholarship Fund has been created with the goal to raise $5,000; and to award five $1,000 scholarships to Wren’s upcoming graduating class. Anderson Motor Speedway will host BUCKETS FOR DANIELLE and ask our racing family to contribute to the scholarship fund. There will be buckets set up at the track and the family will be on hand at Friday’s event.
Grandstands will open up at 5PM. Racing will kick off at 8PM. Grandstand adult admission is $12. Kids 12 and under are admitted FREE. Free face-painting and kid’s club activities (Hula Hoop Contest) will take place at the Jr. Fan Club Sign-In Area.
Trackside/Terraced Parking is $10 per vehicle and $12 per Adult. Kids 12 & under are FREE with paid adult.
