Episode 18 of RACE22 Radio will hit the airwaves Monday night at 6:30pm and will be headlined by recent Late Model Stock Car winners Nik Williams and Trey Crews.

Trey Crews picked up his first career Late Model Stock Car win in a 100-lap race at South Boston Speedway against some of the best competition anywhere.  Crews had been knocking on the door of victory since moving up to Late Models after winning the Limited Late Model championship last year.  Crews will talk about his hot start to the season and getting his first win in Late Models.

Nik Williams has been on a roll at Kingsport Speedway this season winning three races on the young season already.  Add to that his six wins late last season and he’s approaching double-digit win totals in just a few short years of Late Model Stock Car racing.  In recent weeks he’s been involved in some heated battles but has come out on top, we’ll talk to him about those battles and how he’s been able to run so good since the mid-point of last season.

RACE22 Radio host and founder of RACE22.com, Langley Austin along with his co-hosts Roger Johnson and “Crazy” Corey Latham will be in the studio at Performancenter Racing Warehouse in Statesville, NC.  In addition to talking with Crews and Williams, the gang will discuss a wild ending to the CARS Tour Late Model Stock Car race and some hard racing between Bubba Pollard and Matt Craig in the CARS Tour Super Late Model race at Motor Mile Speedway.

Plus, did you see the fight during pre-race at Bowman Gray Stadium? We’ll talk about that and the racing on the track at the Madhouse.  We’ll also dive into the Southeast Super Truck and Limited series race at Anderson Motor Speedway a little and touch on some of the other races from around the region.
