Peyton Sellers was fastest in qualifying for the Rodney Cook Classic at Ace Speedway on Sunday afternoon and will lead the field to the green flag.
Sellers timed in with a 15.415-second lap, which was a few hundredths faster than second-place qualifier Trevor Ward. R.D. Smith, Ryan Millington and Justin Carroll also timed inside the top-five.
Thomas Scott, Ty Gibbs, Bobby McCarty, Jeb Burton, and Justin Hicks rounded out the top-10 qualifiers.
The Rodney Cook Classic will commence later on Sunday afternoon. Early afternoon rain pushed much of the on-track activity behind schedule.
